The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) at Elam School of Fine Arts enables students to develop their own creative voice and acquire professional skills for a meaningful career as an artist or creative practitioner. Through a flexible programme structure, students study artistic practices, research development, and creative career fundamentals. They explore diverse media including painting, sculpture, digital media, ceramics, moving image, and ngā toi taketake, while building a toolkit of research and entrepreneurial skills essential in the creative sector. Students undertake a capstone Fine Arts project and research essay in their final year, supported by leading artists, teachers, and technicians.
