The Master of Fine Arts (MFA) at Whitecliffe is a full-time, two-year low-residency postgraduate programme in Fine Arts. It is designed for practising artists, designers, and creative practitioners who wish to advance their studio and research practice within contemporary art contexts. The course combines studio-based creative investigation, contextual and critical study, professional development, regular critiques, and public exhibitions, guided by leading national and international artists, curators, and academics. Students receive close supervision and mentorship, develop a cohesive creative project and dissertation, and gain professional exposure through exhibition and publication opportunities. The course prepares graduates for professional careers and further doctoral study.
Entry Requirements
Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) or equivalent undergraduate degree (Level 7) with a GPA of B– (GPA 4) or higher
